The new “Tenka Ippin Thick Chicken Shiratsuyu 2 servings” is a product that reproduces the “kottori” flavor of the signature dish of Tenka Ippin, a popular ramen restaurant originating in Kyoto with more than 200 outlets nationwide.
The soup, filled with chicken bones, vegetables, and other umami ingredients, is characterized by its rich, deep flavor. The “W-soup” specification, which combines liquid and powdered soups, reproduces the thick, rich flavor of the soup as in restaurants. The newly developed medium-thin, straight noodles have a rich wheat flavor and firm texture, making them a perfect match for the thick “kottori” soup.

I love Tenichi, and when I was a student, there was a restaurant near my university, so I used to go there about twice a week at most.毎回、Every time, of course, I order the “kottori” ramen, taste the soup, slurp the noodles, leave about half of the soup, and then add half a bowl of rice! Then, I put in the mustard miso and ramen sauce! I always ate the rest of the soup!(I don’t know how you didn’t gain weight…)
After returning to my hometown, there was no Tenka Ippin nearby, and I had completely missed it, but at a local supermarket, I came across “Tenka Ippin”! I couldn’t believe I could have that taste at home! Now I can enjoy that rich sauce anytime I want! It’s a wonderful time we live in!

I immediately bought it and decided to make it!

While resisting the urge to plunge my face into the bowl, I managed to lift up the noodles with my chopsticks and found that the thick broth was well entangled with the noodles!

Hmmm, it’s delicious if you think of it as chicken shiranyu ramen, not a recreation of Tenichi’s kotto ramen…or is it?
